The accent heard by some of Love Island’s 2023, series 10 cast, in particular Tyrique, Zachariah, and Andre Furtado, is not Jamaican Patios, but is in fact a new accent which developed in the late 20th century amongst young working-class Brits, coexisting and socialising in the multicultural boroughs of London, where coincidentally Zachariah, Tyrique, and Andre all hail.
